EML Class of 2008

This past weekend, the École Maurice Lavallée Class of 2008 celebrated their pending graduation. My sister Sarah was among them. This also marks roughly 10 years since my graduation from the same school. Her graduating class was 91 people, where as mine was 28, so her ceremony was a little bit longer.

We recently purchased a new camera, and so I had way too many pictures to choose from.

Congratulations, Sarah!

Of course, Sarah's grad wasn't the reason I bought the camera. Here's a hint:

In case you haven't heard, we're due early October.

Big News at the Legislature

I think that there's something else going on at the same time, but the real scoop at the Legislature Grounds is, well, the Legislature. In Lego.

When a mommy and a daddy love each other very much...

The rest of the site is pretty lame, but I got a kick out of this.

Happy New Year

The past year has been a good year. Key highlights:

- We finally moved into the Condo

- Warren changed jobs not once but twice and is now downtown doing something he is passionate about

- I earned a second designation and after a year and a half my promotion went through

- we had some great trips around the province camping with friends and heading around the south with the Sikkemas

- my first stint as wedding co-ordinator and getting to play a role in a special day for someone dear

- close friends moving home to the area

- finding a new church and building new friendships

- and although I travelled a ridiculous amount I got to see Ottawa, Montreal, Calgary and do it up cheesy tourist style with Ms. Scott.

I'm hoping that this new year continues to bring great times with family and friends, a renewed sense of balance between my work, life and health and fingers crossed ... a buzzer system that actually works!
